Renton Rebels Baseball

Thank You to our Rebels Sponsors!

The Renton Rebels Baseball Club was established by Benny Benavides in 1993 as a one team club with the primary focus on advanced baseball fundamentals for local athletes to compete at high levels locally, regionally and across the country.  While being coached by Benny and Ken Chick, that team achieved much success from 1993 through 1999, most notably winning the 14U 1995 CABA World Series in Miamisburg, Ohio.  The program continued with a new class of players through the early 2000’s but was then dismantled.  In 2015 Benny’s son and former Rebel, Brandon Benavides, along with Kenny Chick and Daren Balmores revived the Rebels by starting a 13U team and continued that through the 14U season in 2017.  In 2018 the Rebels started younger with a 9U team coached by Brandon Benavides and Josh Robinson and an 11U team coached by Josh Lambarena.  Both teams shared success in their 2018 seasons and have continued to grow and develop year after year.
